[help] Photoshop does not like objectbar....

Despite the fact that i have objectbar exclude photoshop, sometimes my photoshop just stops working correctly. But it doesn't freeze, only the cursor stops working.

But that doesn't freeze either, it just gets locked as a normal pointer. I can operate everything fine, move around teh menus, select tools, etc., but i cant actually draw anything because the cursor does not change to teh appropriate tool.

I'm 99% sure this is objectbar because it only started happening after i installed OB, and i can usually recreate it if I use the OB menu while photoshop is open.

Just don't push Alt without any others keys.

(If Alt is already down - push Tab, then Esc. It helps me. )

yes, we all know that part, but i think what everyone wants to know is if its posible to either fix that bug so even when to menus open it continues working, or is it posible to just fully disable ob's effects on ps

Mmm...I'm having no probs at all with OB and PS...menus work fine...why exclude Photoshop?...the only proggies I have probs with are Quark and ImageReady which I've excluded...although I think Photoshop's 'save for web' feature' (better optimisation) works better. Have you the latest version of OB...Jeff has fixed many bugs...don't let it put you off!...I've found OB to be a very useful tool for my gui.

Maybe you are using the trial version?...if so spend some cash...it's not much for such a boon to your desk!

no i do not use the trial version, and anyways, you cant do that in the trial. i use 1.55 627

Only Photoshop CS has these problems. I have Photoshop CS and OB 1.65 (Photoshop excluded) but I still have these problems. The problems appears when activate Objectbar's Photoshop menu (with mouse click or Alt key). I can't fix with Alt+Tab and Escape. I really must quit and restart Photoshop.

thats what i have to do also, but i sent a letter to the stardock support, heres their reply

"I will forward this to the developer of the application so they can make a note of it for future versions."

so hopefully in the next release its all gona be fixed, cause i'm so tired of having to quit ob to use photoshop, and plus i rather like how all of the ps menus look in ob.

hi, yes, I'm new.good to hear they're gonna fix it because it also freezes all the keyboard shortcuts, and makes OB atoy more tha a programm you wanna buy
