Aqua-Soft ForumsI started this thread for people who want to make their PC look like a Mac OS X fast and not want to search all over forums for things they might not need anyway.
Anway...Here is a screenshot of my computer and below it are things that I used to make it look like that. This tutorial is recommeded for Windows XP but it will work on lower systems also
Object Desktop, normally costs 50 bucks but there are different ways of getting it for free, although i won't mention any. If you get it great. If you don't get it please don't pester me because i don't want to get into trouble. One you have it installed on your computer you can download anything on Stardock's Product list at no extra charge under available components.
Object Bar: Download off of component manager. the
theme for it was finder 10.2.3 which you can get off of
aquaxp.com
Window Blinds: Get it off of Component manager too.
Then go onto wincustomize.com and search for OSXP
NG.
Toolbar buttons on my computer: I used Y'z Toolbar
for this and the theme is Pico's theme. Sorry but I don't
remember where I got the theme. All I remember is
that I got it off of Aqua Soft forums. I searched for
Pico's Aqua Theme 2.
Icons: At first I used Icon Phile which lets you change
all your icons with the ones you want quickly but I use
Icon Packager now because it is able to skin your icons
in a lesser amount of time. To download sets for Icon
Packager go to wincustomize. You can get Icon
Packager off of Component Manager in Object desktop.
The Icons Themselves I got off of
jonmega.com/~iceman
Dock is Object Dock which you can get off of
Stardock.com and under products for free.
iTunes: This is really QCD with the Itunes theme on it.
Go onto jonmega.com/~iceman to get the hacked
version with a macified system tray icon. Search under
stuff on his site.
Boot Screen and Logon Screens: If you want a
changed boot screen or Logon Screen (both only work
on XP) go to themexp.org and find one you like.
Xabout 2.5: It displays the About this Mac screen. You
can get it at aquaxp.com
Safari Looking Browser (Savanna): To get the latest
version: .89e i think get mirc and go to aquaxp to net
and they will give you the channel they host the files
on and the chat room where you can get the file.
Wallpaper: is Jaguar which you can get at
jonmega.com/~iceman under suff.
