I have decided it is time to get some new headphones! Well...I guess I didn't decide out of nowhere. My old ones snapped in half basically and are now wating to be repaired with some epoxy stuff. They werent ever really good headphones (Link) though they did save my sanity on my recent trip to Oregon. Being next to the engine on a jet isnt very fun. Anyway, they bit the dust after 1 year of constant use with iPod (which also died and is now being replaced by a 4G for free or mebbe an iPod photo for $200) and now I am looking for new ones because I know those damn buds just wont cut it for my audiophile ears. Annnyway, I have decided on these after reading this review. What do you guys think? They look good and are damn comfortable according to that review and others. That price I found is INSANE by the way, the MSRP is something like $160. Also, I was thinking of getting a better 1/4-1/8" adapter because the review says that one can snap pretty easy. This is what I had in mind.
[help] Some new cans...
Nico, you are way too used to derailing threads with your useless, pointless stories. Its simple; Dont.
The rules apply to every one.

Those look awesome juno. I dont like the shape of them though, not sure about
looking like some creature from star wars lol.
Just out of curiosity, what were you doing in oregon ? Thats where I live
for about 4 months every winter. This is man funny. You want to be in Poland,
where Im from, but you also go to Oregon, where I spend 4 months out of teh
year =)
My opinion is go for it, especially with the price you're getting them for. Sennheiser makes quality stuff in my experience with them.
Ok, well, like I said my last ones were Macallys, which werent too bad but they werent amazing either. Lots of people I see reviewing these say they are the best heaphones they have ever had! I am worried about 2 things though:
The HUGE cord. 10 feet is a bit excessive to go from my head to my pocket!
Open backs. I dont want people to listen to my good music! Also, I don't want tons of ambient noise coming in, which the Macally's were good at stopping, especially with the noise reduction on. I never listen to music super loud so maybe sound leakage wont be that big of a deal.
