The favorites folder view... has anyone thought of this?

The favorites folder view lists all the shortcuts and files in the favorites folder. This includes folders and drives and everything else on your computer.

So why not just hack the view of the favorites folder in explorer, then the user could place files in their favorites folder that hey wish to display like a mac finder?

hrrm not quite what i was looking for. That's an addon for the taskbar (unless I missed something in that thread, i read it).

There is another thread in this forum with an explorer mod, and the only info given on how to find it was to search for finder bar. That's what came up before.
