pop-up notes on mouseover...

I really lov eteh notes desklet, but sometimes it's just plain ugly to look at. i thought mayeb it would be nice if it were just a small icon, and when I wanted to read it I could mouse over and the text would appear.

I already achieved this by making a shortcut desklet and having it display label on mouseover. Problem with that is, in order to edit the notes you have edit teh desklet properties, and edit teh sublabel and type %# everytime you want a new line.

Just a thought.

You could use Alilm's magnification effect. Keep the icon small most of the time, grow on mouse-over.

Text wouldn't appear and disappear, but at least you get the grow/shrink thing going.
