I'm extremely pissed off... for one, i've been trying to get sysstats to work on my machine for about a week, off-and-on. I can get docks that have scripts to work, like weather and searchbar, but i've been trying to figure out why the others won't continue to work, like InfoLine and miniweather.
Here's the low-down on what I'm doing: open avedesk control panel -> add -> sysstats. Once I load a dock like InfoLine i get a great big question mark. So that doesn't work, so I open the docks ini file, add sysstats to avedesk and configure meters. after setting up all the configs it looks fine. as soon as i close avedesk or restart the computer, *POOF*, big question mark. all that work gone to waste.
i noticed something interesting, when going to Administrative Tools -> Performance and add a counter I have the option of choosing local computer and a computer name. by default the computer name is clicked with, of course, my computer name in the field. i'm assuming, and hoping not, that sysstats or InfoLine determines the computer. ~ the user that i'm logged in as has limited privilages, so it may be possible that checking performance is only available to privilaged users. is that true? i don't know.
and so i find myself here on aquasoft reading this, and it says, "SysStats doesn't work on W2K."

I don't want to pressure judge to get a new version out. I do want to thank judge for doing a great job on a great app. I'm just cooling down because of the cool things i could've had, but can't, and hopefully can. errggg~
maybe i'll soon upgrade to XP. and then i won't have to worry about all the fuss.
JUDGE, thanx for the work you put forth. Your doing a great job. Can't wait to see what you've got up your sleeve.
