Um... there was a person at my school that looked rather nice so I took pictures of him. I completed one wallpaper, but it looks horrible. I included a screenshot of variations of the student. Could anyone help with ideas?

I think that a vector of this person would be more interesting, otherwise its just a photo of a 12 year old kid that tried to copy a spread in a year old GQ issue.

it looks pretty good but i would sugest simplifyign things, and focusing on the curves, what you have so far there seems to have too many points, and its not very round and smooth.
may i also sugest working much larger than the origional if you arent already, it helps, and then you can release a 1600x1200 version for those of use who would want one

Seph... the person knew in advance of the fact that I was 1, taking pictures of him (he posed for me); 2, creating a wallpaper from the photos; and 3, publishing these photos online.
If it makes you all feel better, the only person here who could possibly know the person is Lou because he is a fellow St. Louis student. Even then, there are a lot of schools in the greater metro region. Then again, Lou could be a stalker like me. 
Vectors are coming along... give it a few days for me to finish. I'll post previews as it progresses.
@ Floatingtrem: The reason that it looks really jagged is because of the shadow left when the old background is there. It is much smoother in a pure vector state.
By the way, could we make the tag even bigger with [release/help/wip]?
