Aqua-Soft ForumsFor some time now, Windowblinds (latest 4.x release) doesn't show up in the appearances tab under display properties. It's been like this for months and months (don't recall exactly when it started). Luckily, Windowblinds was configured to start up automatically and to show the icon in the toolbar. I just installed FlyakiteSP2 and now Windowblinds won't run at all. When I select it from the start menu... it pops up the little window telling me to configure WB via the appearances tab. Which of course, doesn't work. Aside from a total uninstall and reinstall.. .anyone have any ideas?

somehow my windowblinds doesn't show up under the appeareances tab either, but I still can access to windowblinds via the start menu shortcut and I'm using SP1. So maybe your problem comes from SP2 (just my thought), try reinstalling the app to see, that's not too difficult to do so 
Do I need to backup all of my installed skins before I uninstall WB?
yes and no....
I have had difficulty reinstalling wb in the past which caused me to have to delete the whole wb folder and therefore I backed up the skins... that being said I beleieve the reinstalling doesn not by default erase all of your old skins.
Well.... after the uninstall/reinstall I'm back to where the app starts when my system boots so I can access the settings via the toolbar icon, but it still doesn't show up in the appearances tab....
I had that same problem with flyakite sp1 v6
but after installing sp2 and flyakite sp2 v1 it shows up in the appearencs tab again. Weird... Sorry I dont have an answer for you.
Wish mine didn't show in the appearance tab by default (I know about holding CTRL). Anyone know how to remove it? As I use the WB control panel anyway as it's more stable for changing WB skins.
Nope, don't seem to be having that problem overhere.
