I would like to know if the default OSX icons are under a user license or if i can use it for my own icon set??? 
May i ask a permission to somebody???
Because i've already seen a lot of sets using these icons but i don't know if the owners asked someone to use it...

as far as I know if you're releasing something using the default icons from OS X, you don't need to have permissions coz Apple will not give you permission for distributing their icons to windows users :P

you can import to windows and stuff, but give credit to apple. like in a readme txt file. do not claim the work as your own unless you modified it but still you must claim credit to apple even if it's a finder smiley face. apple is pickey about idea theft and they have their justified reasons.
