Problems editing Logonui file

I've been editing a logonui file for my computer (just replacing some of the graphics) the problem is, I've replaced bitmap 100 which was yellow with a huge apocalypse picture from devart that is mostly black. However, all the black bits show up white in the logon screen...

I've tried 16Bit 24Bit & 32Bit BMP (32Bit causes errors in the file), i've tried JPG (again errors) and PNG (just pure white, not even the explosion appears).

Can someone tell me if and where a setting would be that would be causing black to be the transparency colour?

Hehee, Ive had this same thing happen to me only I was using logon studio.

Change the black color to one or two digits lighter, not enough to see with

the bare eye but enough so that it wont be black anymore.

Then try it again. =)

Yeah, black is most likely the transparent color for the bitmaps. I'd assume you could specify a different color somewhere else in the file.

I, of course take the easy way out and use LogonStudio.

Unfortunately the person who made the original didn't make it in LogonStudio and it doesn't import into LogonStudio, so I have to do it the old fashioned way.
