Hue Rotation Desktop

OK! First I use the vital desktop and 3d animated wallpaper programs!

Both have the option to place the screensaver as an active desktop item.

The only suitable ss is the nostalgic ss. But it /I mean the ss/ eats a lot cpu power. /50-100%/

Is there any other ss replacing the nostalgic wich needs less cpu time??

Qcould someone write a ss or some animation wich has a hue rotate effect without burning the cpu????

How could apple make this to work without the loss of resources???????

Can we do the same.

THERE ARE A LOT GREAT APPS ALROUND HERE! IT MEANS THERE ARE GUYS WHO HAVE THE ABILITY TO WRITE PROGRAMS, SO I ADVICE THEM TO SIMULATE THIS GREAT THING /MOVING LOW RESOURCE BGRND/

PLEASE BRING SOME NEW LIFE TO THE COMMUNITY AND HELP ME TO DO THIS........................

PEACE!

I don't know if you've tried it, but there's a screensaver called PKSaver that does blending between images pretty well.

You can get it --here--. I've been using it for a while and I think it is similar to the ones I've seen on a mac. It doesn't do image resizing on the fly though, so be sure all your images are the same size. Taking that to the desktop would be a huge step... and I'm not sure how that would work though.

I've used Flash animations as a background, but they are CPU consuming, too. I had better results when I converted the Flash animation to AVI (flash and avi were embedded in an html, which was set as desktop background as windows does it... no tricky stuff)

Maybe someone could make a video file with rotated colours, etc.
