First off, Is this the right forum?
I have decided to purchase a Mac! Would anyone be willing to trade an equivalent iBook/ Powerbook for my Dell Inspiron? It is new in box and has the following specs:
P4 3.0 Ghz 15.4"
128 MB Mobility Radeon
512 MB RAM
60 GB HD
XP Home
24x CD-RW/ DVD Drive

How 'bout you sell it online and buy an iBook/PowerBook with that money?
come on mate, with that specs you could sell the computer for at least $1100 - $1200 (if your Pc is new) and with that money you could get a decent iBook (it starts from $849 or something like that with education program)
ew. i hate trading techniques like that. it's just like trading oranges with apples. dosen't work right. they are diffrent computers, diffrent species. one dog dosen't possibly worth more than a cat, and vice versa.
also, this is the wrong forum.
even if it has something to do with hardware, you should go to an ebay forum if there is one :slant: i'l tell you you will get the most out of your pc's money by indirectly "converting" it to a mac by changing pc > $ > mac instead of pc > mac. it's much more worthwhile that way. this is not a good forum to trade and sell goods. this is a forum for discussion and sharing, not trading and selling. you WILL save more money ebay's or amazon's way.
