Creating Presets in Avedesk

man, this is, i think, a great tip. i've had porblems with the ftp desklet remembering presets. well, i was perusing the tutorial and suddenly there was a lightbulb over my head. sho nuf, it worked.

here's the deal: by default, the presets are stored in

...avedeskdeskletsftppresets

but also by default, the preset folder is NOT created, so, you can click the preset button all day, but the preset has nowhere to go. by creating the "presets" folder manually...well, you get the picture.

i searched but didn't find this anywhere so i hope it's not redundant. i also hope it's helpful!

perhaps. but i've reformatted twice in the past 2 weeks and after installing avedesk, i had no 'presets' folder. i'd buy the whole 'it must just be me' thing if it weren't for the 2 clean installs. maybe i'll set up a poll....
