[Help]Multi String Registry Editor?

Hi Guys, I have searched the forums. But I couldn't find it, however I know that there was once a post on a registry editor that allowed you to edit multiple strings, values, keys at the same time, say for instance you wanted to rename the folder Program Files to Applications, well you could search through everything that say program files and edit all (or at least a fair few) at the same time.

I was wondering if you guys knew where that or one like it might be?

Thank you all in advance.

Instead of regedit.exe, you use regedt32.exe.

That's not true for XP. This is taken straight from Microsoft's article about this:

Regedt32.exe

In Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, Regedt32.exe is a small program that just runs Regedit.exe.

Try searching for regedt33.exe

It has search/replace capabilities.

Thank you, to herd, flyakite & applelover.

I really do appreciate this as it cuts down on the time that it will take to edit my registry after a reinstall of windows.

I owe you one guys.
