Several Apple-Like Programs?

I've been an aqua-soft member for a good while, but I've been "out of the loop" for some time now (haven't been surfing aqua soft much, etc.).

The other day I went to a friend's house who owns an iBook...I was pretty impressed!

So I went home and started MobyDock up on my brand new ultra-fast computer (not an Apple ). Crash after crash...

Since I'm out of the loop on things, is there a better and newer "dock" program out there? Something that is more stable and maybe even smoother with a fast computer? I know that Moby has not updated his program in a *very* long time...and unfortuantely I don't think it's going to develop much more.

I'm definitely not looking to start a flame war...just looking for opinions from other users on the docks they have had the most positive experiences with.

Also, the other thing that impressed me tremendously was the free "Desktop Manager" which can be downloaded for OS X on sourceforge. WOW! That was nifty! There has to be some type of similar program for Windows... Anyone have any experiences with one that can recommend?

there's y'z dock (whose distribution is now prohibited, but still hosted on some sites), objectdock (and objectdock plus), and mobydock.

I am doing it for your own good. Old timers would come and burn you to death with their sarcastic comments, trust me You want to get some info about docks? Use search. There's a buttload of information about them on this site.
