I got a g4 1,42 for 2 days, and i saw its desktop.
Its desktop were changing continuously in the backgound.
Is ti an additional app., or is it a feature of the op. system.
If it is an additional app, I wonder if I can get it for my Pc or not??????????

To get the most realistic look, do a search in this site for "vital desktop" and "nostalgic screensaver" and you'll find more than everything that you need.

Besides making the video, please tell us in writing too. You are talking about making the background change, and leaving the desktop icons and taskbar visible right?
I tried to use 3d animated wallpaper. It is a quite great app, wich generates dozens of animations to the desktop.
The COLOR animation is pretty cool and looks like the genuin osx builtin anim.
It does not affect the shadowing effects /wfx, yz shad./
The animations are in .exe format. They took a lot of the cpu time.
GUYS! IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE AN EXE FILE WICH GENERATES
ABSOLUTELY THE GENUINE OSX DESK ANIM?????

There is an app called - anfy - wich can generate huerot effect.
It is exactly the same like in osx. BUT it uses 100% of cpu resources.
How in the earth could apple put the same effect in the os wich
is not a /cpu smoker/ thing.
Else: could someone give me a serial for 3danimated wallpapaer prog???
Perhaps you want this program : it's called drempels ... mentioned by Goku some days ago. Anyhow posting it here

You lose icon background transparency, and it takes up tons of system resources. These background changing programs (in my opinion) are not worth it.
