Firefox problem

Im having a problem with my hotmail while using Firefox, it wont let me get this dropdown menu... see screenshot... i tried to deinstall all the filterblocks but its still the same

do you think a ms website is going to work right in firefox? don't use hotmail, but it's probable an activex control... some sites you have to use IE for, unfortunately. get the extension for f.f. 'open in IE'.
