ShortPopUp has reached version 4.0. If you're using it for pop-up menus from the dock, check it out, esp. the "shiftrun" option.

Don't know if I'm last on earth to find about such a program, but SplashKiller managed to remove all splash screens from various programs (MBM, CPUidle, Netscape, MS Office etc.)

My desktop looks much cleaner now!
