[help] How to change the Seperator Color

i'm making a theme for personal usage that i saw recently over at mac themes. And everything is going pretty smooth since it isn't the first time i'm in style builder, but i came across this annoying bmp / color that i can't find / get rid of. If anyone knows what file / color i have to change to make it a darker color such as the overall theme i'd greatly appreciate it.

sry for the bad pic host but mine is currently down

yeah I had problems with that too. Look around for values like "edgeshadowcolor" or "edgehighlight". There are probably a few more but that should do it. =)

kk, thanks ifido, i'll check it out :)

EDIT: :( i didn't find anything like that in stylebuilder, the closest thing i could find was toolbaredgeshadow but that was already a black color. In fact all the colors i could find i changed to like green and pink but the white bars still there >.<

try going through the text file and looking for those terms. you *should* be able to remove those lines.

yes, you can do it. I don't know how though, but StefanKa has done it as well as others. Also, is this a port of Hallo by Tom McMahon? If so...send it my way:P

lol, maybe if its good enough i'll ask the author for permission :P

/me is off to look through the text file

EDIT: ahrem i dont want to sound like an idiot so don't read it if you don't plan on helping :P

where is the text file located and whats it called?

i rarely use stylebuilder, but if you open up the visual style in resbuilder (or resedit or whatever the hell it's called), there's a section called "textfiles," and if you expand it, there are several elements. if you select those, you get the text on the right side, which you can edit in notepad. it's like editing an ini file.
