Manyk Aqua for Rainlendar

UPDATE: 10-20-04

Now includes "Floater" config: This is for those that want

to be able to put the calendar anywhere on the desktop.

Original config is now called "Topper".

Also fixed Message Window coordinates as they were 'incorrect'.

The inspiration for this release came from

an app for OSX by Peter Maurer called "Calendar Clock".

I thought it would make for a great skin for Rainlendar,

especially for those who like to have their taskbars at

the top of the screen.

At any rate, I thought it best to redo all the graphics

from scratch to get the best results within Rainlendar,

and here it is.

The calendar is designed to have the todo list visible.

I did the graphics so that the windows would line up

nicely, especially considering the window has a drop shadow.

Very nice... I like the idea of dropping down from the taskbar at top, but would it be possible to make a version with a rounded top in case the taskbar is at the bottom or if the calendar is just in the middle of the desktop?

I will consider this. Currently I am a bit occupied with other things. Heck, it took me almost two months just to finish this one, and generally I can do a calendar in less than a day!

I typically don't have my own taskbar at the top. And I do rather like this design. So, it IS going to be a definate consideration.

Heh, I just double click the Rainlendar icon to hide/show. But I agree, it would be cool if the app had a few more 'features'.

I was considering having the todo on top of the calendar for the bottom version. The one tiny thing I'm concerned with is that the todo window scales downward. So every time we add more items to it, we would have to adjust the window to line it up with the calendar window. I may end up just making the todo a bit longer than it is right now to allow for more items.

Yeah that's true, forgot about that ... well I've just installed your skin and reilendar again because of it, and playing with the toogle shortcut keys

I don't like the tray icon very much ( and I'm about to disable my task/tray bar anyway ).

but again great loking skin, if not the best one for rainlendar, and even if I don't have anything aquaish on my system, I cannot not use this .
