[release]Graphite Firefox by Aronnax port

Here it is: Firefox Graphite for Mac OS X by Aronnax ported to Windows by yours truly.

Windows port features:

1. Works with Firefox 0.10-1.0+;

2. Compatible with the latest nightlies;

3. Mail button support in both big and small icons modes;

4. Integrated compact menu icon in both big and small icon modes.

Known issues:

1. Missing arrows in the Bookmark Manager. Will probably be fixed soon.

2. I haven't tested it with TBE. I don't use TBE and I'm not going to in the near future, so if you encounter any issues with this extension - sorry, you're on your own.

0.4 update:

1. Fixed findbar issues with 1.0 milestone;

2. Toolbar and statusbar are now skinned by the visual style;

3. Fixed bookmark favicon issues.

0.7 minor update:

1. Fixed Bookmark Manager arrows issue.

Please note: this version is not compatible with 0.9+.

Thanks for the work, TBE has major problems right now because if you have "Use different appearance for tabs in OS X" checked, it slows way down and crashes when you close it.

It does work on Windows. It's ported after all. Just make sure you download from my site, not from Aronnax's. :]

It's already available for Windows? Where? Of course, the default Winstripe theme is obviously not the classic Pinstripe.

The current ports circulating on Aqua-Soft are not completely compatible with Firefox 1.0PR (they were ported back when Firefox was still 0.7/0.8).

Aren't they? To tell the truth, I like Winstripe much more than Classic Pinstripe, but well, okay, I'll port the Classic Pinstripe as well if only the community demands it. But definitely not today and not tomorrow. Later this week, most likely.

That would be awesome beyond belief. I've got the current version of the older Pinstripe port... what's been happening is that every time Firefox updates and breaks the existing file, someone has been sorta hacking it just enough to work; there have also been personalized changes incorporated... various highlightings and colors etc.

Your Graphite theme is very clean and seems to resemble the original closest out of any OS X Firefox port to Windows.

I'll bet people in this community will shower you with applauds for a port. Looking forward to whatever you decide...

Strange issue. Is it happening with every bookmark toolbar item, or is it only eBay Italia? Does changing the name of this particular bookmark item help?

It's your font setting. Change the FirefoxGr.jar name to FirefoxGr.zip, unpack the /browser/browser.css file and edit it with you favourite editor changing the following line:

toolbarbutton.bookmark-item .toolbarbutton-text {

font-size: 100% !important;

margin: 0px !important;

}

to:

toolbarbutton.bookmark-item .toolbarbutton-text {

font-size: 90% !important;

margin: 0px !important;

}

See if it helps.
