[help] how to create a image like this

When I was browsing around the web.. doing nothing (almost), I found this desktop at samurize.com and the wallpaper really amazed me. I'm interested in how can you make such a picture? A tutorial would be nice.. ehe. Yeah - I know, this is much to ask for but still.

I guess you can call that a vectorized image. Search google for vector tutorial or something, and I am sure you will find something.

You would of course need the right programs, like Adobe Illustrator for example.

That can be produced in Photoshop.

*if you have no idea what the pen tool is or what vector masks are do not attempt this*

Use the pen tool to create vector shapes either using the shape or path function.

Create more vector layers w/ different/darker colors to produce shading effects.

To produce the effect in that wallpaper, rasterize your layer(s) & gaussian blur it slightly.
