Very cheap powerbook at Roltechon

Hi guys,

I was lloking for a powerbook these last days. However my budget is quite limited and I do not want to invest too much since i already have a windows based laptop.

I've found a shop which is called Rochelton, the link is the following

http://www.roltechon.com/

Has somebody heard about them? They have really interesting deals but I was wondering since it was too wonderful to be true...

They sell new 15' powerbooks for 1450$ and you can get used ones for much cheaper. Have someone already done a deal with them? If yes, how was it?

Thanks in advance

Looks like a scam to me.

Yeah another one. Especially judging by the quality of that cheap-ass web site.

It's either that or they are selling manufacturer overstock.

I mean the 867Mhz G4 12" PowerBook hasn't been made for years.

And IBM hasn't made the T-40 since early last year. The T-41 has been available for 8 months now and the T-42 is about to start shipping.

Who knows.

But then again, the site does look like crap.

Yes but they proposed to sell me a brand new 15' alluminium powerbook g4 (I precise an alluminium not the old titanium one) for 1450$....

That looks tempting...

They propose a protection purchase via ebay, which is good

On the other hand, they don't accept neither payment after delivery (I agree it's kind of logical), nor picking up...

so now the truth is shown. those dumb idiots ( the theives)

that is why i don't buy anything online except for amazon or ebay (even though i never used it yet)

did you contact the police? or anybody that can help you? you aren't getting anywhere unless you get help like that.

just to let you know, in a place like hong kong, things like this happens all the time. this idiot nearly stole my mom's car keys for example and he new exactly where the car is. at least he accidentally piced up some other stuff from the purse. keep your eyes open. you don't have to just have your eyes peeled for danger, you have to sense it as well.
