OK, so I'm making my own xp cd with all updates, etc. and am in the process of changing shell folder locations, i.e. program files>applications, windows>system, etc.
My question is since you can change the "common files" folder to anything by entering it in the unattended file, can I do this with other folders this way?
and if not... what exactly is the os x counterpart to the common files folder?
It sounds to me like maybe the library folder? Not sure.
here's a good reference of winnt.sif things you can include, i know offhand you can also do the program files location and the default documents and settings directory.
That is exactly the page I was working off of.
In there I saw the options for the standard program files, documents, and window folders, but then saw an entry to change the "common files" folder located in the program files folder.
To better clear up the question, if the common files folder can be changed, how about other folders besides the usual program files, documents and settings, and window folders? How far does this go? Or are these the only changable folders?
