So, are the programs under "processes" or "programs" in task manager? If they are in "processes", what happens when you try to end the process?
they are under processes, when i try to end the process i get nothing it just staysthe same and i tryto rstart normall so i go to do that and it says end task CCAPP or something liek that, then i click end and it doesnt restart, so i go to restart it again and it doesnt do anything. im also getting an error like USRPRBDA.exe failed to initialize, click ok to terminate the application. thats a us robotics thing and i dont know if that has to do with anything or not
kill the explorer.exe process, and then from the task manager list choose file > new task (run...) > explorer
maybe this will help, although I doubt it will.
hmm ok i finally restarted, everything seems fine now, but everytimei shut off my computer i still get that URS error, how doi fix that?
Well, if you're not using the US Robotics modem (assuming you have one, based on the background process) you can use MSConfig (Startup Tab, very right) to disable the USRPRBDA.exe process from starting when you start Windows.
