Aqua-Soft Forumsnew ipods by christmas w/color screen?
I want to enjoy my 3rd gen for longer, so no!
Id prefer a 60 gig monochrome version, really.
I dont need a color screen, and 2 inches is too small to view pictures, id rather get a 5 megapixels camera with a 2.5 inch screen and whatch the pictures there while i listen to my music and get 12 hours of batery life.

i don't think apple is this stupid. there is no use for a 2" color screen to view pictures. also how would it handle x & y scrolling? this is very much false. but a 60 gb is likely. at a color screen and might as well increase it to 4" and get rid of the click wheel and make a pocketpc...

If it was "very much false" ThinkSecret wouldn't of announced it. Have they even been wrong once in the last eighteen months? They got the current displays and iMac G5 spot on - why should they be wrong about another thing this big?
Time to sell my mini ipod, again...I hate having old technology :/
But yeah, like esXXI said, thinksecret wouldn't post that unless they could at least comfirm the source in some way, also their leaks haven't been wrong for some time now, sure maybe some stats will differ, but the idea of a colour ipod has been in the works for a while now. Viewing pictures would present a problem, the resolution would have to be high enough to view 5+megapixel pictures, and the screen would be far too small to make viewing large pics egronomic. Not to mention that there are other dedicated picture storing/viewing HD decives out there, which are expensive as it is, which leads me to believe that the ipod's price would rise if colour screens/picture viewing were to be added.
