Aqua-Soft ForumsOk, for starters, I love WindowBlinds to death. I will use it eventually, but the thing is that I just formatted my computer, and I'm using SP2, but I'm anticipating the release of Flyakites SP2 greatly, and I wanted to keep my system "virgin" prior to installing Flyakite SP2, (ie not installing any theming/skinning programs, etc) mainly because I want everything to work 100% the way it should (ie login/logoff screens, etc). Should I go ahead and just install WB now? there's so many great themes out there that I just can't ignore... Can it mess up anything when I go ahead and install Flyakite SP2? ahh! What should I do?? Yes, Flyakite will bring out SP2, and it will be wonderfull,
so will Danimator's pack, but who know when they'll be finished?

Just go ahead and install WB & use it. You can always disable WB (choose classic skin, or end that task in Windows taskmanager. You should be fine then, alot of people (if not all) here on this board use WB or VS's.
BTW: why not make a system restore point?

thanks for the reply. no i totally understand what you mean... it's just that last time I installed Flyakites, it didnt get all the features done right. i'd create a restore point, but im pretty sure i'll be installing or doing something important in the meantime. I dunno. yeah, maybe I'll jsut go ahead and do it. my question to you guys though is, when you installed flyakite or danimator before using a WB skin, did you have stretched out/messed up logoff screens and shutdown screens? thats really the main thing thats annoying me.
i like danimators too a lot, but its jsut that i dont really like the fake Show All, etc buttons. other than that, its a job very well done...
oh, and i know perfection takes time. that's why i'd be willing to wait the longest for either pack. they both do fantastic jobs, and i've actually been on this board for some time before I registered, so I've seen a whole bunch of their other stuff and I understand that everything they release is well worth the wait

Do you mean the buttons on top of the menu's?
then use another skin...or use one of the new Bzeitler skins like
Bz Milk or
His skin buttons work (Quote: "...First off... I am very pleased to let you all know that the buttons in my "preferences skin" are no longer useless!...").
