connecting a PC and iMac to the Internet

I am not sure what I need to do. I have a main PC that is connected to the internet via a cable modem. Attached to the cable modem is a Linksys router (BEFW11S4) that I use for my other PC that has a PCI 802.11b card. I will be purchasing a mac, but am not sure if I will need to buy the Airport Extreme base. I know that I have to buy the AE card, but what can I do to have all three computers connected?

Do I have to replace the Linksys router with the AE base....or can I use the Linksys router to connect the mac to the internet? If I have to use the AE base, can I use it the same way as the Linksys router (connecting it through the cable modem)?

A lot of questions, I know! Any help would be great!

Airport Extreme card works with all wireless access points b & g networks.

I have a PC wired and my PowerBook wireless w/ a Linksys WRT54G 802.11g router. Though it doesn't have such a great range like the AEBS, it is only 60$ and I don't go much than 50 feet away from the router anyway...

Thanks pwnzrzpat, you answered my question. Its a good thing to know that my Linksys router will work with both systems. For now the router will have to do because I only have one printer and need to share it between computers..I know that the AE base would solve this problem, but I will worry about that in a bit
