why I tossed my dock....

well....

first it was the fact that it's only nice yet it lacks performance : try to render scenes and access the dock, that is....espacially with a client meeting with you at your desktop. than it was the fact that the gigher the version got, the more annoying the bugs became (already posted a few threads about them ...). then bumped into ORBIT, which the minute that it will be out of beta stage will knock away all the docks....and then I met the great OpusOSX VS and I suddendly understood I want the minimal taskbar looks and also HAVE a systray...and suddenly workflow flies !

rest in peace OD. it was fun, but nothing more....

there U can find the best dock of them all, at least in concept and eye candy. still under development. it's a zooming rotating fading ring-dock ... when it's done it's gonna be the only dock u want.

I understand you very well.

All that eye-candy can get in the way.

Therefore, I deactivated the magnification effects of ObjectDock and whew, performance skyrocketed...
