Modifying Uptime Counter

OK, I've just added the Uptime counter in SysStats, and I was wondering...

1. What would be the easiest way to remove the large monitor image with the text overlay, and simply have the label displaying the uptime? I've tried it a few different ways and they've all been very unsuccesfull.

2. How would I change what is displayed in the label? So instead of showing "6d 8h...." I could have it showing "6 days and 8 hours..." ?

Any help is appreciated. I've only just started using SysStats, so it's all a little new to me :confused:

change the uptime script where it says d change it to days and so forth. look at the script and you will see.

Thanks ghostwalker, sorted out the second one then. Anyone got any ideas on the first one? :slant:

EDIT: Found it; Whilst I was looking around in the script files trying to solve the second problem, I stumbled across the answer to the first one too. Removed most of the MeterOverlay and Overlay parts from the configs/system_uptime.ini file and it's working fine

Hmm, i need help with the Uptime script: Since i've restarted my computer, it doesn't show the uptime but counts from -59s to 0s and starts again by -59s.

I have nothing changed in the .vbs file. Where is the problem?

since you guys are talking about uptime with sysstat, I've got a question too, is it possible to display day, hour and min seperately? Thanks a lot

@And3rS: no idea, sorry.

@duyvan83 - Although it's just a theory, I guess you could make three or four copies of the sysstats uptime plugin, and then go into each and remove the part you don't want. So the frst copy you would remove hours, minutes and seconds and rename the whole thing to 'uptime_day' or something. Second one you would remove days, minutes and seconds and call it 'uptime_hours'. Just an idea, try it out if you want

Hmm, now, my PC runs longer than one hour and bang, the uptimecounter shows a correct time 1h 5m 30s.

Yeah, the uptime counter is very unreliable. On mine, it often displays the uptime anywhere from 10 minutes off to several hours off.

Today, the Counter is nearly 3 hours behind.

Is anybody able to code a better one? (No, i can't code )
