I'm bought two blue ties for myself, and obviously can only wear one.
I am wearing a black suit with a black shirt, shoes, and belt. I am wearing a blue tie as it goes with my date's dress (black dress, blue trim). Which of these two ties should I wear?

The first one, simply because its an affair, its playful yet stylish.
The second one I would have chosen if this was for a job interview or something like that.
The second one, a little more elegant and sober.
I would get a Chirstmas themed tie, but that is just me (I wonder hoow many people actually think I was kidding?). Out of those two, I would personally wear the first one.
I look forward to next week, when Lou asks us what underwear matches his socks

Personally, I'd go with the first one; I share Photo 678's sentiments. Second one is too professional.

I wish I had more imaginary friends so that they could vote for the first tie, and thus, break the TIE.
It should be illegal to build upon what's already a bad Pun in the first place.

I wear the same as seph except my shirt is black and grey vintage striped and my suit doesnt exactly fit me anymore and my black tie is sorta azn styled with little swirly thingies woven in, hard to explain. I also have the white shirt and red tie since those are my school colors so I wear those for hockey games. (we don't have a uniform at my school if that's what you thought. Go with the second one. The first looks kind of like you were going to
a costume party lol. As said, the second one is waaaay more sober looking.

Yea Seph, I was really thinking about wearing a solid black silky tie. In fact, I was also thinking of wearing a solid white silky one. My dad didn't like the white tie idea, and I wanted to match my date's dress which is all black with some blue, so I chose two blue ties.
Homecoming is tonight, in about... ten hours... lol.
edit: last year I wore all black and a pink tie. My date's dress was mainly black with pink in it.
