Help needed! :cry:
I got a OpenType Font (.otf) file from mac, and I need to convert it to a TrueType Font (.ttf) file. I tried many applications, such as Font Creator Program from High-Logic, FontLab, TypeTool, AsiaFont Studio from FontLab, but I failed, I just can't have it convert to a .ttf file.
Can anyone help me? Or is anyone willing to give it a shot?

Why would you need to do that? Windows supports OpenType fonts from 2000 on.
edit:
OpenType support for pre-2000 (NT4, 95/98, etc) can be added by installing Adobe Type Manager.
On a similar subject.. someone sent me a font from a Mac, and it arrived as a ".dat" file. Is there anything I can do with that? O.o
Well, I heard that ObjectBar for example, does not support OTF fonts even though Windows itself does? I can't confirm this, but whatever...if you need to convert OTF to TTF, you can do it easily with fontforge (it's free).
It's mostly the docks that don't and avedesk.
fontforge doesn't have any docs on otf to ttf conversion, how do you do it?
How did you grab the font from the Mac? Unfortunately, you can't just copy the file, because unlike windows, which has all the data in one file, Macs split it up into a resource fork and a data fork (and maybe another fork and a spoon too 
) See if that changes anything.
