[help] Avetune 2.5 Problems

Hello, recently I downloaded and updated avetune 2.5 version.

Of course I applied the updated file which was .dll and .zip file after closing avedesk

The problem I'm having is that when I load the itune the skin doesn't load up

automatically as it did on previous version.

Also After I manually selected avetune skin and itunes.....when I'm closing itune,

skin does not close automatically either.....

I read some instruction and followed what helps said like reboot and appling file many

times....

Does anyone encounter similar problem and resolved it?

Help would be appreciate it....

Have you looked at the "iTunes Interaction" tab when you open the desklet properties? See what you have checked there.

I have the same problem also, when I close iTunes the widget will remain on my desktop, but it usually goes away within a min. I think it has something to do with the message you get when you close iTunes when running Avetunes..."One or more applications are using the iTunes scripting interface. Are you sure you want to quit?"

You mean the iTunes interation option under avedesk 1.1

Yes of course, but I don't think it's related to with that...

It's same option chosen as before....

All three of check box is checked.....

as of Hide the widget when iTunes is not loaded

Hide iTunes when this widget is loaded...

and 5 star system.....

So it should automatically off and on when itune is loaded......

and about your "one or more applications are using....etc" is about

iTune is integrated with avetune, and that's what it meant , I guess, so

when it's closing it ask to close the skin with it.......

but somehow it doesn't on new updates....I think it's a bug.......

this is a known bug in AveTunes 2.5 and Ave is aware of it. However since other projects have higher priority now fix will have to wait.
