i know its been asked here, and i know its has been shot down before. but i thought maybe since aqua xp isn't doing it anymore, maybe we could give it a try and see how it works.
i just like the compitition, it gives people extra insentive to mod the hell out of there systems.

it would be hard because you can't compare a Mac with a PC emulating a Mac.

I think, grim, that it would be rather redundant as we will now have a news weekly item in which BZeitler will pick the most aqua-perfected ss of the week and rip it to pieces, allowing people to achieve such extent of aqua customization
bleh not everyone can have such an aquafied pc desktop as Pe8er ya know and it would be redundant to pick him every week

yeah u can, why do u think were all here. i think my pc looks more like a mac than macs do.
but thats really besides the point. i think a desktop of the month contest would be good to get people in the mood to make a kick'n desktop, and compete with others.

I have a different idea: let's have an Ugliest Desktop of the Month Contest! People will work really hard to make their desktops look like poop and we will be picking one of them and we will jointly scream 'ooooh it's so dirty and awful and blah blah!'
What do you think? It goes thru or not, I'm starting to post ugly screenshots from now on anyway. Just for kicks

@doubled: no it wouldn't be that easy. I will show you something uglier than luna in a couple of days. Turn off cleartype, destroy objectbar, add some ugly compressed wallpaper, make some ****ty bad aligned dock bacground, use 32x32 icons resized to 128x128, use Comic Sans font....possibilities are infinite :D:D
