Interesting read and usefull for modding dialogues, etc.

Oh my god. If this becomes one of those XP is better than OS X (or viceversa) threads ill close it in a split second.

:Sighs:

I will don't say one os is better ....

I think each OS has his good or bad functions.

you gotta give it to the guy though... it looks like he's done a pretty indepth erm, from the layout i'll call it a blogicle (i know it ain't but it sounds funny).

He admits right from the start that he prefers mac but tries to be (mostly) objective.

looking(procrastinating) through it now...

Thanks for the link, that's really a good read... Very in-depth and detailed. I hope the guys at Microsoft & Apple read it too and learn from their individual "mistakes"...

#215860

Yeah - Good read that. Maybe something to stick in my blog.... -_-

i was a little surprised at the video results... i thought they would be skewed more towards macs (isn't that one of their cornerstones??)

#215893

Yeah... anyone who has messed with video and compression will tell you that Quicktime rules all, and Shake is a definite plus and Mac only.

Actually, Shake is not Mac only. I'm running it on my PC just fine for almost two years now. However, Final Cut is indeed Mac only, which is the main reason I got a Mac (besides that the OS is so darn pretty).

Can't say I agree with those things at some parts. Not to mention some screenshots are still from Jaguar.

Very nice site- I just read the whole thing through. I also have to admite being surprised with the video results- however, I think it's just funny comparing the screenshots of Windows to the screenshots of Panther side-by side. One's a heck of a lot more pretty :D .
