The "mouse2" part isnt neccesary... you dont need the extra skin.. get me on msn aleks and ill show you

i don't mean to be contrary, but, no, it's not. damnedest thing...the links are identical, yet the dl'd zip is different. the only difference is capitalization. that must be it! you want the one with the uppercase 'T', not the lowercase 't'.

ya know, i've actually noticed this in the past. i'll use hoversnap to take a screenie, then upload it. then, when i point to it in, for example, a forum, the forum can't find it cuz hoversnap defaults to *.JPG and i'll type in *.jpg. then i have to fix it.
anyways, did you check it out for yourself? heck, don't take my word for it, i'm a knucklehead...

here's my impossible request...
instead of expanding right, then up, could the whole thing expand out equally? meaning: mini-mode would be the center, not the bottom left.
the impossible only takes a little longer...

it`s not impossible, just not elegant
plus the mini mode is not square shaped so it would have to expand first to fit the width and then equally in height.
however i`ll see what i can do about it
well, i'd be interested in hearing if anyone else would like it like that. it's purely an asthetic choice on my part. config looks great expanded but sits funnily alone and off-center mini'd.
how about making it like a 2gb config with every possible option: direction of animation; milky/aero-y; shadowed or 4 dimensional hypercube-ish; chicken or beef, etc. 
well if it didn`t take me few years to properly animate it, i would do it.
that was first planned, but after seeing how much time a smooth animation consumes, i put it on hold
i don't know if your interested in doing it, but i'd like to maybe see:
1. the smallest mode would just be a vertical strip instead of a horizontal one, and the other two largest states (the ones with album art) would be exactly the same as they are now.
2. the only other thing i could think of is perhaps in the mode where the album art is showing(but not the next mode, where the album art is at its fullest size), you could have some sort of darker or lighter coloured box that connected with the album art and lay behind the text that is to the right of the album art.
basically just have that small album art picture mirrored with something beside it that gives the skin a bit of balance in that mode(as it stands, its *slightly* lopsided from a design point of view). Haven't tried it, so i don't know if that would actually look better.
3. oh, forgot, if you did the vertical one (#1.), it would be nice to have a small vertical progress bar when you are in the first 'information' mode(first mode where you see text).
Those are just ideas i thought i'd throw out, i'm actually quite satisfied with the current setup, as it suits my needs quite nicely (ie. its my fav. avetunes skin).

2. i don`t quite get what u wanna say here. english is not my mother tongue so that could be the reason
3. vertical progress bars are not possible and might take some time before Ave adds it. i allready talked to him about that

1. Great! I see quite a few people using vertical samurize minicontrols, and i'm sure quite a few would like to see an ave. option.
I know with some wallpapers, it will help me to have an option for a vertical layout. :rock:
2. Forget about 2 - i did 4 mockups and the idea i had looks silly.
(Don't worry, it was hard for me to understand. I wrote it, and my native tongue is english too )

it`s not impossible just time consuming to add + AveDesk 1.2 is in focus now, so all other desklets will have to wait for now

Absolutely beautiful skin Unbeliever! This is difinately my favourite Avetune skin. I have a tiny problem though. I like the idea of mini-mode+info, but when ever i switch to full-mode then back to mini-mode, the info does not show anymore. I have to click the bottom-left button to show the info again. I'm not sure if someone already mentioned this. I'm kind of in a hurry so i didn't have time to read every post.
Works absolutely fantastically.. great skin truely, very functional.
i cant stand Itunes but this might make me use it since theres like NONE for foobar
