it looks nifty, and i'm wondering if i should get it. does anyone have any experience with it? the reviews look pretty good.

not sure about creative, though. i've had 2 die on me.
i'm starting to look at some better altec lansing and logitech speakers.

Actually, my friend has that exact pair. His dad got them for him from Hong Kong or Taiwan, not sure. Anyway, They are awesome speakers! If you turn up the bass really high you can make the big egg vibrate, even move around a tabletop.
He's had them for a few years, and they haven't fallen apart or cracked, its pretty thick plastic.

srry not to sound rude but those look like crap. i would go with altec lansing, creative or jbl. this is like a generic company. i would suggest looking at other speakers.

The creature II's are kickass! I have a set of my own...
I have to say though, put them as far away as you can (straight back and to the sides a little) from your computer, they sound much better. I got little white plastic (shiny, just like the speakers) shelves and mounted them on my walls! The subwoofer sits at eye level where my printer should be (on the ground now) but I havent experimented with in under the desk. Maybe thats better?

Good pick. I have the Creature I's and I LOVE them. What (if anyone here knows) is the difference between the II's and the I's? The only difference I found was the color!cool, ifido.

i would think you should just select stereo and let the active electronics in the speakers handle the .1 as i would guess you're not going digital out of your sound card.
