[help] Making Coustom Icons For Windows Xp Folders

Is there a way that I can make a unique icon for each folder in Windows XP? For example a folder containing back-up emails would have a folder icon with a letter on it, or a folder for writing with a pen on it. Sort of how microsoft put a picture symbol for My Pictures.

Just right-click the folder you want to customize, then click properties, then third tab (I suppose it will be customization in English, i have Polish version of XP) and there's change icon button on the bottom.

ps you can't have custom icon for windows folder this way

for special folders, you'll need to edit the desktop.ini file (hidden). or you can use iconphile and customize those special ones (it does it for you).
