I couldnt find it anywhere, I looked in
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Chrome\Compact.jar
and the file in there isnt even the image that shows up on my Firefox (the default fish one is on my Firefox), instead it was the image from the Safari mod that I installed in firefox v.8
BTW now I'm using the PR 1.0 and the latest Compact menu extension.

I'm not sure that {535bbd25-7a7c-4f9a-80fb-bd832ae22386} is the same number for everyone's extension though.

It doesnt say it on the site, but it works for PR 1.0
ugh i tried adding a different image to replace the fish (see the spider icon in the firefox phoenix tutorial) but it never works! i found the compact.jar, skin, . . . etc, added te image and the userchrome.css, and it still doesnt work. i tried doing that editing thing in the userchrome.css (or something like that) but it won't work either. how did you guys fix your images?

replace shark-2-8-50.png in C:\Documents and Settings\(USER)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(PROFILE)\extensions\{535bbd25-7a7c-4f9a-80fb-bd832ae22386}\chrome\compact.jar
and if {535bbd25-7a7c-4f9a-80fb-bd832ae22386} isnt in there, just look in each folder there, only one should have compact.jar in it
and don't forget to restart your browser, but that's just common sense

theres this neat spider button i wanna use for the compact menu button. but, when i use his icon i get a grey and blue spider for the compact menu. is there anyway i can solve this?
yea i know its phoenix, but i followed the rest of his faq nd it worked nicely
