no Aero related stuff here at Aqua-Soft please.
on-topic: I'll speak to Magbi9 and ask him if he plans on updating the Pinstripe theme to work with Thunderbird 0.8.

;If you have a nice place to upload it, i will thank you first of all because i don't have money to buy a good web space, and in second place i don't have so much time to mod mail.app skins
[/OT]
I don't have so much time, but i think that there's so much work to do, i will recontact Magbi.

you do realize that his reply was to a thread that was on aqua-soft before..
and he's just saying that its an alt that would work with tb0.8
and the image was just to show that the skin doesn't get distorted like the current pinstripe skin does..
I dunno if this is the right place but I have a question to anybody who might be able to help....
The image attached is Thunderbird 0.8 with Magbi's and Bicet's beautiful pinstripe skin for T-bird 0.7.
As you can see it works perfectly with the new t-bird version (at least for me), the only visible bug is the one you see on the image.
I tried to fix it and I figured out that pinstripe.jar\messenger\mailWindow1.css might be responsible for this, but I gave up trying...
This is not a major bug, I can live with it (turn search bar off), but maybe somebody could help....
Thanks for the beautiful skin, and for the help in advance
(BTW: I just backed up T-bird0.7 files and installed the new 0.8 over the existing installation....it prompted me that mail.app theme will be unusable, but the pinstripe is - almost - perfect.)

^^^^
jesus, me really wonders how u got it running. if i apply the theme i just got the text on a all-white background.

Ahh the blue-white stripes are part of the mail.app skin that was also installed for me before. Mail.app skin (also by Magbi and Bicet) has these stripes. Pinstripe is supposed to be with all white background...pinstripe for thunderbird
If I reinstall my XP, I do not think that I will be able to reproduce this either <_<
well here is what pinstripe looks like on my screen at the moment
there a few more graphical errors other then the search bar..
like the drop down arrow for getting e-mail which should be centered.
the spaces one mark as read and print
also the sender subject date is messed up a little too...
i could careless about the blue and white bg..
but ill try and take a crack at fixing it..

theme is working fine for me.however, whichever panel i am activating ("folders" in the attached image, but also in the email list or the addressbook-extension), all lines get this blue background.
it has nothing to do with the userChrome.css though. any idea anyone?
Same thing here. Got no problems on my PC, but my friends PC got those blue lines when selecting folders or messages. Thunderbird 8.0 fresh install, no other themes installed
Just found out - to get rid of that blue lines bug you need to be in "msstyle mode". This bug is in Windows Classic Style ONLY ![]()
The biggest bug with the 0.7 version installed on 0.8 is the lack of ability to change searching options... the dropdown arrows is completely missing so you can't choose between searching Message Body, Subject, Sender, Subject or Sender, etc.
I have no luck finding any tutorial nor themes/fonts/whatever to make Thunderbird look lik e this : http://kmgerich.com/archive/images/thunderbird-progress.png as I saw on gabx458 post. The link to the tutorial I found on other thread's just keep me going back to the front page of the forums, any help anyone ?
BTW, thanks to all themers / stylers by such a good work

Instructions haven't changed much though the theme jar has.
