Conflict Between Iblend And Avedesk?

Hiya everyone,

I have been happily using Avedesk for a few weeks now (great app btw) and have been looking around at other customisation options. One of the tools that I found on this site is a little app by siwu called iblend (version 0.3). I installed the program and have been using it for the past hour or so without any problems.

I finally got around to using one of my Avedesk desklets and after double clicking the icon all I get is a big black box inplace of whatever graphic was there originally :(

Has anyone had this behaviour too and if so, how (or if) did you fix it? I ave tried making the Avedesk.exe file a avoided part incase that may have helped but it did not :(

Incompatibilities between apps are often suchlike that its not easy to tell which one was faulty. I'll keep this topic here but invite you to post it at Siwu's, too.

/me adds iBlend to AveDesk compatibility check list.

FIX:

Open iBlend.cfg in notepad

append the following lines:

class=AveLabelClass

class=DockItemClass

restart AveDesk and iBlend.

PS: If you use RainLendar or RainMeter:

class=RainLendar

class=RainMeter

fixed it up great this has, now I have funkly looking windows and nice looking fonts on the desktop.. at this rate I may have to upload a desktop shot yunno!!

Does iBlend perform OK for you? It seems sluggish to me when I run both ObjectDock and AveDesk aside it, especially more flickering when I drag a window. Guess I need a newer GFX card...

out of curiosity, what's iBlend? sounds interesting and based on the name i'm gussing what it might be. link?

Scan Siwu's apps. iBlend makes inactive windows transparent.
