Your site looks very akin to (Justwatchthesky).
Design-wise, you might want to make your text on the white body area a bit darker, to provide higher contrast - perhaps you could try one of the blues from the background gradient? I would also suggest making the Community button on the navigation look disabled, rather than selected, until you make the button functional (rather than making it dark, as it is now, make it lighter, and with a slight shift towards grey).
Other than that, the raw design is very good, in my opinion, although I'm sure some of our more proficient designers could provide a more thorough critique.
My main comment, however, is that you may want to migrate your content from a table-based layout to XHTML/CSS based layout - your current content would be laughably easy to provide in this fashion, and would, in turn, be much less bandwidth-hungry, and much more downlevel-friendly...
