Aqua-Soft ForumsI don't know if anyone else hear likes Motorhead and lives in the USA but Motorhead announced on friday they were cancelling the whole USA tour because Lemmy hurt his foot. I was going to see them tonight and I have never seen them live before and now they won't be coming till March 2005. :cry:
Huge Disappointment
Same thing happened here in Argentina with Metallica.. but it was an arm 
..and last summer Motorhead came too.. but they played like only 30 minutes. That! was what a huge disappointment.. ppl didn't take it so easy.. they distroyed the whole place. equipment flying all over :rock:
At least Nightwish (next november) never failed us 
Sometimes it's the other way round:
The Ramones were playing at a Bizzare festival in Aalen / Germany and after 15 minutes the pogo dancing fans were pushing so hard that parts of the stage collapsed. Lead singer mumbled something about his arm and a motorcycle incident a year ago and whoosh the band disappeared leaving the stage to the Dubliners... Yuk.
I guess the older these bands get, the more they value their own life and disppear at the very sight of trouble...

Also Megadeth finally released the tour dates for The System Has Failed tour, which will be Megadeth's last tour and I will not be missing it for the world.

It sucks, but these things happen. Trust me, bands don't like to cancel shows. That's where they build their fan base (well, groups that actually do it for the music). Plus, they probably lost a lot of money because they had to cancel (reservations, getting prepaired expenses, et cetera). They only do it if they really have to.
I don't really know Motorhead (I've heard of them, and listened to a few of their songs), but I think Lemmy is their lead singer, right? You can't preform as a singer on a broken foot. It would just further the injury being on it everyother night for hours.
Yeah, Lemmy got old: breaking legs, cancelling shows. Is hi still on drugs, I wonder?
wizard's right: if they wouldn't cancel the show, you'd be way more dissapointed. Imagine Lemmy in the wheelchair

Yep Lemmy is lead vocals and the bassist for Motorhead. Well ya I should be getting my money back soon because HOB also sent me an email informing me of the cancelation. So thats something good I guess.
