I've Just updated the forums to the newest version of IPB, and as you can see they updated their skin, while its nothing great. It does its job. IPB is supposed to go final next week, then the skin will start to emerge.
I will edit a few of the images, as best as I can to get it somewhat non-luna like.
Bah, Luna is perfect for forums. Oh well, this one is ok too 
If anyone knows how to remove that break after the top menu, please let me know, :/ Looks fine in ie.

From my quick look at the code, it seems to be because there is a
tag on the logo strip.
Firefox may not be liking it having an ID instead of a CLASS.
well i like the new buttons and icons... but i don't like the rest..
needs some improvement.

If you had read what Timan posted before, you'd have the answer for that.
A least the Final is coming closer and closer to be released, so we could finally trash the default skin.
I have a few queries.
The first, is it just me, or does the source seems bloated. The CSS seems to be HUGE compared to the previous versions (I have only looked at the source for PF 4 of version 2.0). It seems more complicated than 1.X to skin.
Also, how does the Report feature work? I know in 1.X, it only sent Reports to Admins, are they being sent to Moderators also? Only to active Moderators/Admins or all of them regardless of current status online they are.

When Tim and I get to skinning, however, this should be fixed - I'm very anal about my CSS 
As for the report, I think it goes to all super-moderators (all our mods are super-moderators, I think) and admins, online or not.

The truth is, he's only got the badge because I was too lazy to fix his special user group, so I just popped him into admin.
the skin is HORRIBLE now, but with the final soon i look forward to an aqua skin
