I just started to play around with avetext and was wondering if either of these features were in the works. It would be nice to disable wordwrap when working with html files and the colorization of text, even if were done manually by the user would be very helpful... Just an idea. ![]()
[request] Avetext
syntax highlighting would be an awesome yet unlikely addition. But we can only hope. (or donate to ave :smartass: )
If someone finds me a free TMemo component with syntax highlighting for Delphi 5 or lower, I'll add it for you.
If someone can decipher what Ave just said, I'll give them a pat on the back.

P.S: I can't speak for Ave but almost none of the AveApps are still in development, with the exception of AveDesk.
TMemo is a delphi code editors template I think. I dont know what syntax highlighting is (maybe highlighting syntax is text?) and Delphi 5 is a coding language sort of based on Pascall, I think...
as far as I know
syntax highlighting is where certain words are different colors depending on the programming language, aka variables are red, strings between "" are blue, etc. of course, I have no idea where to find a TMemo, so ![]()
I saw that too when looking for whatever ave mentioned. still have no idea what it is. Heh, I saw Tsyntaxmemo or something like that, but it was almost $200!!! Hmm.
