Y'z dock is the only dock slow enough for me, or my pc, i'd tried od, but it's too fast >.<

LOL
OD runs kinda decent on my pc (specs below).
I made the switch since indeed Y'z has halted for quite a while now.
Both OD & moby are still in development.
Never used moby since everyone complains about it being heavy on the resources.
And what I love about OD is the minimize to dock feature. Only thing missing is the genie-effect. Thried to emulate that with winFX, but it ran way too slow on my pc.
--> Anyone have had a better experiance?
I'm seriously considering to buy OD+, but then again I'm too affraid it'd be to heavy on my resources. Also I dislike the fact I'd have to buy before I can try
this product. I think that blows.
--> Why don't they release a trail version of OD+ so I can find out if it'll be worth the ca$h?
Anyways, I'm still surprised that people prefer an aged app (Y'z) over the newer ones. I can't imagine the true reason is "...because it runs slower on modern pc's."
--> So what's the deal here? Sentimental reasons?
Oh well, people might as well wonder why on earth wiebeest is still using the ancient voodoo3. People, that's not a matter of choice but a matter of budget.
Although I was a 3dfx-fanatic and still regret their demise. ![]()
I am saving for a new pc though, which I'm planning to buy with x-mas.
The budget then will be around €900,- and the idea is to focus on the main components (cpu, videocard, mainboard, memory) instead of a whole new pc.
I'm aiming for an Athlon64 and hope the geforce 6800 chipset will be affordable by then.
Although very off topic, question to you guys on the board: any suggestions on this matter?
sincere greetings,
