he teaches you his style for icandy of course you can change the style, increase the gloss, increase the glow etc..
I found this site for making glassy effects.. but it seems that the tut is poorely written and stuff has been left out. 
Cuz i don't understand it.

Hey Lou, thanks alot for the psd man. Cleared stuff up pretty quick. One question though. Is the Shape 2 really necessiary?
Since the gloss part isn't exactly strait, it is rounded, so you might want the shape 2 layer for reference

Make sure you disable the white background layer.
