[suggestion]objectdock+ Suggestions

i finally got a chance to play with the latest OD+ at my friend's place and it`s a neat app, nicely continuing the excellent tradition of OD. I have few suggestions for it, and that would make it in my eyes, a killer app.

1. mouseover activation for tabs - i don`t like the mouse activation for the whole dock (i like to click on the tab to slide out the dock) neither do i like to have the tabs always on top. it would be great if we could set a hotspot which would bring tabs on top of other windows. nothing fancy, just pop them on top so they could be clicked.

2. locking items in tabbed docks - i think this should be pretty easy to do

3. this is more a question, but will tabbed docks ever be able to zoom in/out like zoomer docks?

anyway, i think OD+ has finally matured and that it might be getting my money

maybe just poping up one icon at a time?

and when using icons in one row it would act like a zoomer, tabs staying in their spot, just the dock bg expanding?

i just found out that mouse over activation doesn`t work for tabbed docks

the dock "slides out" but it does that in the background, it doesn`t pop up up on top of other windows like zoomer dock does. and i don`t want to put it always on top cause tabs cover the windows' titlebars, which is don`t want them to

i`m pretty sure this is a bug :S

If you use the hotspots function in the control panel, the tab's will come to the front and pop-up.

Not sure why you have to use it that way, but it works.

well i just found another bug :S

when using the hotspots approach u suggested, windowds can`t be minimized via taskbar. when u click on it in the taskbar, the tabbed dock just flashes.
