Writing Firewire Device Drivers

Hi all,

I'm interested in taking a look at writing a Windows driver for Apple's iSight camera, such that its built-in microphone doesn't just sit idle on my PC...

As such, where're good places to start looking for tutorials and suchlike for writing device drivers? Is there anything special I need to be aware of, for writing for Firewire devices?

I have access to the checked/debug builds of Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003, and various versions of Visual Studio...

Now what?

I have read some books about it and I'd recommend you reading

'Inside Windows ...' by Solomon and Russinovich for starters.
