[help] Psd Thumbnails
Get ahold of Judge he has a link I have the installs if you give me an email I will send them. If this is what Iam thinking?
I mean that my PSD files had thumbnails in explorer view before I reformatted. But now... after... I do not.

really, i just have a photoshop clipping icon. wierd
I'm guessing you installed CS. Adobe took out the dll from v7 as it was problematic. Not to clear on what the reason is though. A quick google and I found the files needed. It was posted in the Adobe forums I believe. meh w/e
Here's the file you need attached.
Disclaimer:
From reading the Adobe forums, I gathered the following - Adobe removed the feature because many users experienced data loss with it. The suggested method to view thumbnails is instead to use PS' File Browser. The problem is apparently unfixable as it is a bug in Explorer.

wow, this is so cool, thanks
hrhr and i always didn`t know why i lost these thumbnails THNKS A LOT
Heh, this is neat to know for those who didn't.
Just one thing though ... why would Adobe remove the capability? Just something to ponder, because if it wasn't serious, afaik, they'd have left it alone for the release of CS.
Further thought ... if anyone has Illustrator CS, you'll note that dll is still included, hence the Illustrator thumbs still exist ;-)
Not trying to start anything here ... cause I for one USE the dll and reg entries for PS thumbs in explorer.
Good question Manyk, I'll update my post above w/ a disclaimer as to what the problem was. It can be quite serious if it happens to you, so you may want to reconsider using the .dll I posted above.
